We invite you to join us for our monthly mixers, weekend workshops and beginner's series even if you are not currently enrolled on a personalized program. Current ARTHUR MURRAY students received free or discounted admission to most public events. Check with a staff member for more info on student rates for public events.

MONTHLY MIXERS​​
Once a month we invite the general public in to dance with us in our facility for our MONTHLY MIXER. These dances feature a wide variety of social dance music including American Smooth, American Rhythm, country western and club styles. (We do not feature International styles at our mixers.)

Monthly Mixers are open to the following individuals:
-students of Arthur Murray Dance Center
-amateur dancers of all levels
-those interested in learning how to dance

We are an educational facility by nature and the safety and comfort of our staff and students is our first priority. All students and guests in our school are expected to adhere to the following policies. Those violating our policies will be asked to leave without refund.
​
-This event is for our students and amateur or beginner dancers only. Independent dance professionals or those employed by other facilities are not able to attend our events.
-Solicitation of our guests to attend other dance classes/events is not permitted
-Unsafe dance practices such as lifts, unsupported dips, tricks, etc are prohibited
-Teaching/coaching of others by anyone other than an Arthur Murray professional is not allowed. The only exception to this rule is if you are helping a NEWCOMER student with the BASIC step.

The cost to attend is $10 which can be paid in advance or at the door. We accept EXACT CHANGE cash payments, checks payable to Arthur Murray Dance Center and all major credit cards. Apple Pay and cash app also accepted.
A Ballroom Basics class is available ​for those with no dance experience 20 minutes prior to the start of each dance.

Your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome in our facility. We also offer snacks and beverages for purchase and accept EXACT CHANGE cash, PayPal, Venmo, and CashApp for snack/beverage purchases.

BEGINNER'S SERIES
Learn to dance from certified professionals you can trust to teach you safely and correctly! Our beginner's series is designed for those looking for an introduction to basic dance concepts. These classes are designed for those with little to no dance experience and no partner is needed.
​
$20 per person per session OR purchase a punch card good for 6 classes for $100 (Included with program for those enrolled in personal lessons)
All classes are 40 minutes and are held Fridays at 6:30pm
This is an ongoing series. Upcoming dances will be updated approximately one month in advance.

WEEKEND WORKSHOPS
Most of our classes our reserved for our currently active students. On occasion we offer weekend workshops which are open to members of the public. These workshops are taught by our franchisees or a traveling consultant.

Weekend Workshops are open to the following individuals:

-amateur dancers with some prior experience

Unless stated otherwise, weekend workshops are not designed for those with no dance experience.
